Admission policy

RULES AND REGULATION

1. Dress and Appearance
a) Students must come to institute wearing the correct institute uniform. Uniform must be neatly cleaned and ironed.
b) Personal cleanliness, hygiene and neatness is expected at all times. Hair must be neatly cut/pinned/plaited and combed. Nails must be kept clean and short. Boys must maintain their hair trim and neat. Fancy hairstyles and coloured hair is not allowed.
c) Failure to comply may result in the student being sent home after two warnings recorded in the handbook.
d) Students are not permitted to wear costly or fancy watches, chains, earrings, belts etc.
e) Students are not allowed to colour / spike / gel their hair, wear nailpolish, tattoo or any henna design.
f) The Shirt must be fully buttoned.

2. Institute Property
a) Care must be taken to keep the institute clean at all times. Litter must be disposed off in the dustbins provided.
b) Students must take care of the institute property. No scratches, writings or drawings may be made on the institute furniture or walls.
c) Damage done by accident must be reported to the class teacher. Students who willfully damage institute property must make good the damage done.

3. Fee refund policy
a) Before the first day of commencement of classes
50% Fee refundable, payable after 3 months of the enrolled batch.
b) After the first day of commencement of classes
Fee is non-refundable, however student may be allowed to join next available batch, this facility is only for the current year, after that no admission in any batch shall be given on any circumstances.

4. Behaviour
a. Students must respect and obey their teachers and Institute authorities at all times.
b. Running, playing and shouting in the classrooms and corridors during study hours is forbidden. Students must not indulge in fights and physical and verbal abuse in institute. Stringent action will be taken against all students instigating and/or participating in such acts.
c. Chewing chicklets and gum in the institute premises is strictly forbidden.
d. Students may not loiter in the classrooms during break or Computer, Games and Activity periods.
e. Students may not go to the toilets or to drink water during class time. Such needs must be attended to during the break. However, if any student has a medical problem, the same must be brought to the notice of the class teacher / nurse in writing with medical certificate attached.
f. Students are not permitted to bring story books (other than institute library books), magazines, picture books, video games, audio video cassettes/DVD’s/CD’s, fancy items, Walkman’s or Mobile phones to the institute. This rule is applicable for class, practices. Any such property found in the possession of the student will be confiscated by the institute.
g. All institute leaders must be given due respect.
h. Students must record and follow the specific instructions given by their teachers.

5. Discipline
a) Discipline is enforced in the institute through Remarks, Warning Letters and Yellow Card entry. All remarks must be signed immediately by the student. After 3 similar remarks by the same teacher the parents are liable to be summoned by the Co-ordinators/Principal. Further action as required may include a Yellow Card entry.
b) Yellow Card entries are made on the following grounds: Grave Indiscipline, damage to institute property, acts of violence against fellow students, using abusive or obscene language.
c) It is compulsory for the students to complete 75% of attendance in the semester to make them eligible to sit for their final exams. The percentage however, could be relaxed on medical grounds but such students will not be eligible for any academic rewards.

6. Certificate award ceremony
a) Certificate award ceremony is mandatory to attend for all the graduated students.
b) Prescribed certificate and refreshment charges for the event are charged in advance and non-refundable and non-transferable.
